Pure Potential helps tens of thousands of sixth form students with university and career every year

Pure Potential is the only independent organisation in the country that helps tens of thousands of bright, state-educated students with their journey through student finance, UCAS forms and career choices. We do this at our large-scale, high-impact, content-rich Summer events (held in June and July with our partner universities) and through this interactive website. All our services are completely free to students.

Our ultimate objective is to promote social mobility by encouraging applications from deserving students to the most competitive universities and careers. Every year we publish a survey of 8,000 students on their attitudes to and understanding of access to Higher Education which underpins our own knowledge in this area.

We pride ourselves on our success and our ability to measure that success:

• In 2008 we doubled the number of our students who understand tuition fees.
• Also in 2008 our presentations were rated as good or excellent by 90% of our students.
• 40% of our class of 2007 (first year for which data was available from UCAS) went on to study at a Russell Group university.
